Store is Fifth El Paso Location in Eight Months 05/11/05 El Paso, Texas - May, 11, 2005 - Pizza Patrón, the premier Latino pizza brand, opened its fifth location in El Paso, Texas; the first dine-in location in the chain's history. The store, located at 2000 Lee Trevino, is owned by Latino Pizza Partners, LP. Jud Phillips is the managing partner. "We are extremely excited to be opening the first dine-in Pizza Patrón in the country," said Phillips. "The El Paso communities' response to our high-quality, value-priced pizza offerings has been overwhelming." Additional dine-in locations are in the works for different markets. The decision to build more dine-in stores will be based on each location's day traffic, its conformity to Pizza Patrón's economic model and its merits for faithful brand propagation. Pizza Patrón decided on a dine-in store because the venue is near a high school that will generate heavy lunch traffic. This location will be open for lunch everyday, unlike Pizza Patrón's exclusively carry-out locations. The menu will feature all of the same products as other locations with the addition of fountain drinks. The 1,500 square foot dine-in concept will incorporate the same vibrant, energetic Latin atmosphere that is a signature of Pizza Patrón's carryout stores. Custom art will feature stylized photography, with inspirational testimonials of Latinos who are expressing the "Llegale!" (go get it) spirit in their lives. "Llegale!" is Pizza Patrón's long-term brand campaign theme. The location will seat 36 with a mixture of table and countertop seating. The store will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Call in orders can be placed by calling 915-629-8080. Pizza Patrón was founded by Antonio Swad in 1986. Since franchising began in March 2003, the brand has gone from four locations to 139, either open or under development. Pizza Patrón features festive and fun carryout-only pizza stores that are community based in Spanish speaking or predominately Hispanic neighborhoods. All pizza dough is made fresh throughout the evening; no preservatives are added or needed. The sauce is prepared fresh in the stores, as well, from crushed Roma tomatoes. Only 100% mozzarella is used. Whole and half pizzas are offered at prices as low as $4.99 for a large pizza with cheese and one topping and $3.49 for the same half pizza. A large "La Patrona" pizza with everything is only $6.99. For more information, visit www.pizzapatron.com.
