Pizza Patrón Opens New Store in Mesquite, Texas Fast-Growing Latino Chain Continues Growth in Texas 06/29/05 Mesquite, Texas - June, 29, 2005 - Pizza Patrón, the premier Latino pizza brand, opened its first Mesquite, Texas location today. The store, located at 2002 N. Galloway, is owned by Pizza Del Pueblo, Inc. It is the first Mesquite location and also the first store for Pizza Del Pueblo, Inc. The lease for the building was negotiated by Marsha Schneider of RTS Real Estate Services. For more information, call 972-698-7900. The store will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays, noon to midnight on Saturdays and noon to 10 p.m. on Sundays. Since franchising began in March 2003, the brand has gone from four locations to 139, either open or under development. Pizza Patrón features festive and fun carryout-only pizza stores that are community based in Spanish speaking or predominately Hispanic neighborhoods and recently added its first dine-in location in May 2005. All pizza dough is made fresh throughout the evening; no preservatives are added or needed. The sauce is prepared fresh in the stores, as well, from crushed Roma tomatoes. Only 100 percent mozzarella is used. Whole and half pizzas are offered at prices as low as $4.99 for a large pizza with cheese and one topping and $3.49 for the same half pizza. A large "La Patrona" pizza with everything is only $6.99.
