Mission, TX - October, 03, 2006 - Pizza Patrón, the premier Latino pizza brand, opened its first Mission, Texas location on October 3, 2006. The store, located at 1600 North Conway (Kika de la Garza and North Conway), is owned by Estrella Ventures Inc.
"I am very excited about bringing the Pizza Patrón concept to Mission," said the owner, "The community has welcomed us with open arms, and we are off to a great start."
The restaurant features a vivid color palette and resonates with an energetic and festive Latin influence that is a trademark of Pizza Patrón stores.
The store is open from 11am to 10pm Sunday through Thursday, and 11am to midnight Fridays and Saturdays. Call-in orders can be placed by calling 956-583-9950.
Pizza Patrón was founded by Antonio Swad in 1986. Since franchising began in March 2003, the brand has gone from four locations to 55 and more than 40 under development. Pizza Patrón features fun and festive carryout-only pizza stores that are community based in Spanish speaking or predominately Hispanic neighborhoods and recently added its first dine-in location in May 2005. In 2006, Pizza Patron introduced its 'Lista"' program, offering ready now large 15-inch pizzas, available in pepperoni and cheese for $4.99 in all 59 locations, making it the only franchise in the United States to offer a 15-inch large ready now pizza for $4.99. All pizza dough is made fresh throughout the evening; no preservatives are added or needed. The sauce is prepared fresh in the stores from crushed Roma tomatoes and only 100 percent mozzarella is used. Whole and half pizzas are offered at prices as low as $4.99 for a large pizza with cheese and one topping and $3.49 for the same half pizza. A large 'La Patrona' pizza with everything is only $7.99.
