Located at 75th & Lawndale 03/03/04 HOUSTON - March, 03, 2004 - Pizza Patrón, the premier Latino pizza brand, has opened its second location in Houston. This is the second of 28 Pizza Patrón stores slated to open in the Houston area over the next 30 months. The store, located at 805 S 75th Street, is owned by Rick Sparkman and C.C. Theophine, multi-unit franchise operators. "Houston is an excellent market for this concept," said Theophine. "There is a tremendous Latino population here and this brand was specifically developed for Hispanic consumers. We're excited to be here and have already been welcomed warmly by the community." Pizza Patrón features festive and fun carryout-only pizza stores that are community based in Spanish speaking or predominately Hispanic neighborhoods. The units are open from 4pm to 10pm Monday through Thursday, 4pm to 12am on Friday, 12pm to 12am Saturdays and 12pm to 10pm Sundays. The menu is value oriented, offering high quality, freshly prepared pizzas at very low price points. All pizza dough is made fresh throughout the evening; no preservatives are added or needed. The sauce is prepared fresh in the stores, as well, from crushed Roma tomatoes. Only 100% mozzarella is used. Whole and half pizzas are offered at prices as low as $4.99 for a large pizza with cheese and one topping and $3.49 for the same half pizza. A large deluxe pizza with everything is only $6.99.
