Antonio Swad
Our company founder is Antonio Swad. He began his restaurant career at age 15 in Columbus, Ohio. His first job was in the dish room of a family-style steak house. After learning each different job at that restaurant, he went on the road as part of an opening team to open stores and teach others. At age 21 he returned to become the General Manager of that first location.

Several restaurant jobs followed until 1986 when he moved to Dallas, Texas, to pursue his dream of making and selling great pizzas. After opening the first Pizza Patrón stores, he developed another restaurant concept in 1994. The restaurant called Wingstop was a hit. That restaurant chain grew dramatically over the next few years, and Antonio learned a lot in the process.

He sold that company in early 2003 to get back to the pizza business and to bring opportunity to others. He is a husband and a father. His interests include automobiles, cycling, aviation and several anti-cruelty issues.

After more than 31 years of service in the restaurant industry, he is more focused and passionate than ever.
